Semarang, May 4, 2026 — The Doctoral Program in Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University (FEB UNDIP), successfully held a Public Lecture entitled “Netnography: Go Further, Dig Deeper,” featuring Dr. Anak Agung Gde Satia Utama, S.E., M.Ak., Ak., CA., CIQaR., Cert.DA as the speaker. The event was enthusiastically attended by doctoral students, academics, and participants from various backgrounds.
In his presentation, Dr. Anak Agung Gde Satia Utama explained the importance of the netnography method as a modern research approach capable of exploring behavior, interactions, and social phenomena in the digital world in greater depth. Through the theme “Go Further, Dig Deeper,” participants were encouraged to understand how online community-based research can provide broader and more relevant insights into current technological developments and societal behavior.
The public lecture also discussed various strategies for conducting digital observation, analyzing virtual communities, and utilizing online data as a credible source for scientific research. The interactive presentation of the material encouraged participants to actively discuss and ask various questions related to the implementation of netnography in academic research and business practice.
This activity is part of the commitment of the Doctoral Program in Economics, Faculty of Economics, Diponegoro University (FEB UNDIP), to provide innovative and relevant academic forums.
