The Doctoral Program in Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University, has once again graduated new doctors through the implementation of the Doctoral Promotion Examination which took place solemnly at the FEB Undip campus, Semarang. On that occasion, Henry Cassandra Gultom successfully defended his dissertation before the board of examiners and officially received his Doctorate. In the promotion exam, Henry Cassandra Gultom raised a dissertation entitled “Political Innovation Capability as a Solution in Political Marketing to Increase Political Participation in the 2029 Simultaneous Elections and Elections in Central Java.” This research highlights the importance of political innovation in political marketing strategies to increase public involvement in the democratic process, especially ahead of the 2029 Simultaneous Elections and Elections. The dissertation provides academic and practical contributions to the development of adaptive, innovative political communication strategies, and is able to build broader and more sustainable public political participation. This study is also expected to be a reference for academics, political practitioners, and policy makers in strengthening the quality of democracy in Indonesia. The atmosphere of the promotion exam was full of pride and emotion with the support of family, colleagues, and the academic community who were also present to give appreciation for the academic achievement. This success is a testament to Henry Cassandra Gultom’s dedication, hard work, and commitment in completing his doctoral education in the Doctoral Program in Economics, FEB Undip. The Doctoral Program in Economics, FEB Undip itself is a doctoral program that focuses on the development of research and scientific contributions in the fields of economics, management, and accounting.
