Semarang, September 5-6, 2026 – A commitment to encouraging doctoral students to complete their studies more quickly and with greater focus has been realized through a collaborative workshop organized by Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) and the Faculty of Economics and Business at Diponegoro University (FEB Undip).
This event, titled the “Doctoral Research Acceleration Workshop,” is part of an effort to provide academic support, enabling students to systematically design and conduct their research. The workshop centered on the theme “Research Roadmap & Preliminary Preparation,” focusing on strengthening students’ readiness for critical stages of their doctoral education.
During the workshop, students received guidance on developing research roadmaps, identifying novelty, formulating theories and constructs, establishing relationships between variables, understanding research mechanisms and boundary conditions, and selecting appropriate methods and data. Thorough planning helps students define their research focus, anticipate potential obstacles, and set completion targets for each stage of their studies.
This approach aims to provide students with a clearer research direction from the outset. By establishing measurable targets and milestones, students can minimize research hurdles and accelerate their progress through each academic stage.
This collaboration between BRI and FEB Undip serves as a tangible form of support for accelerating doctoral students’ progress. This acceleration prioritizes research quality, ensuring that students not only complete their studies on time but also produce dissertations that offer significant academic contributions and practical relevance.
