The Doctoral Program in Economics, Faculty of Economics, Diponegoro University (UNDIP), will hold a Doctoral Promotion Examination for Ahmad Nurkhin on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB). The event will take place in the Doctoral Courtroom, Pertamina Hall, 3rd Floor, Dean’s Office Building, Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University, Tembalang.
In this promotion examination, Ahmad Nurkhin will defend his dissertation entitled “Financial Accountability Practices for the Almighty: An Ethnographic Study at the Assalafy Al Asror Islamic Boarding School.”
This research examines financial accountability practices based on the spiritual values of Almighty God within Islamic boarding schools through an ethnographic approach. This study is expected to contribute to the development of accounting science, particularly regarding financial accountability in religious and local cultural institutions.
Abdul Rohman will be the promoter, with Tri Jatmiko Wahyu Prabowo as co-promoter.
